Hawaiian Nightly Entertainment

Here at Bongo Ben's we enjoy great musicians.  After all, our restaurant is named after one Benton Miles Little, percussion man for the groovy 1970's band "Tribe".  His talent in rhythm helps set the "exciting" tempo here at Bongo Ben's nightly between 6pm and 10pm.  Bongo Ben's is privileged to offer the very best in talented  musicians and entertainers on the Big Island.  Dave Tolan, Brian, Scotty and the boys, special appearances by entertainment family "Lobo del Mar," which include pipe and drum band "the Dogwatch" and the lovely and talented dancers of  "Fuego de Gitana" are just a few of the the awesome entertainers rockin our stage!

The Tribe was a groovy/disco band consisting of keyboardist/vocalist Earl Foster Jr., guitarist Edward Romias, bassist Robert Apodaga, drumer/vocalist Benton Miles Little and violinist Gelon Lau .

They issued 2 albums on ABC Ethnic Stew and Tribal Bumpin over 1974-1975; both sold respectably with the former reaching the top 50 on the R & B album charts.
